The main objective of this project was to design the experience of the EA booth space at the annual E3 convention and to showcase EA's new games for a new generation of consoles. Our aim was to position EA as being at the forefront of technology and gaming. The result was a new experience for the EA brand - complete with interactive installations, forward thinking technology and an evolved visual identity for the next generation. I worked on the initial art direction and design of the visual branding, as well as brainstorming for the layout and technology of the space. The following is a collection of storyboards, styleframes, and initial data viz explorations for the visual presence of the exhibit. Note: All gaming key art in my style frames is property of EA.
The graphic architecture for the visuals was built off of key art from the games, as well as the triangular grid that permeates throughout the EA brand. This grid was a visual tie throughout the key art and data visualizations we created for the event.
I explored and executed many different ideas of interesting data visualizations that could be sourced and shown in real-time throughout the event.
