The DoorDash Commerce Platform provides products and services to help Merchants grow, run, and operate their business on their channels - whether that’s in-store, or off-premise. Our à la carte suite of solutions help Merchants scale their capabilities, drive more sales, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience - anytime, anywhere guests engage with their brand.
The brief for this project was to create an ownable look and feel for this suite of products distilled from the DoorDash Merchant brand umbrella. While it should feel visually grounded within merchant, Commerce Platform uses photography and color to craft a unique look that stands out. All surfaces aimed at differentiating the Commerce Platform products, tools, and technology.
The photography approach needed to capture complex conceptual ideas in an easy-to-digest manner. The photography features bold, monochromatic backgrounds, a focus on technology, and unique angles. Our approach uses product-focused photography to capture the benefits of the Commerce Platform. It features products and benefits in colorful yet stripped back settings, for a clear fast read. Uses a color blocked approach to highlight one specific idea.
