Toronto Urban Film Festival is an annual event that showcases short films in the Toronto
subway. They needed proposals for a teaser segment that would embody the identity of their
event. We developed the concept of using still frames on a stop motion carousel to tell a story
about the different theme categories that would be exhibited in the show. The technique we
developed aimed to simulate the over saturation of imagery that flashes past us while riding
on a train. This was a team project with Brenda Abrica, Julia Kaopua, and Khoa Tran.
