This concept for the Smithsonian logo came from a simple comma – an entity that links together multiple thoughts or dialogues in a sentence. Our main core attribute was “interdisciplinary and convergence”. Our goal was to create a frame that could work in many different contexts throughout the expansive institution.
I designed each of these three posters deals with a different area of study in mind, and each is included in the umbrella of the museum. This was a part of a project sponsored by Michael Osbourne Design in San Francisco where we put together a presentation and showcased our concept for a museum branding at the firm. I worked on the brand with Khoa Tran.
